Crain's Dallas: Verizon franchise goes from one store to four with more coming to North Texas

After years of working for Verizon, James Altiery plunged headfirst into the hyper-competitive cellphone industry by starting his own Wireless Zone franchise.

These days, consumers can buy a mobile devices at any big box store, not to mention online.
